Job Cabinet by Studio Job for Lensvelt, on Thursday Januari 12th in London received the Wallpaper Design Award. The cabinet was awarded first prize in the category Best Use of material '. The jury was very impressed by the large, plated bronze key that belongs to the cabinet. The Wallpaper Design Awards were celebrated with a luxury party for VIPs on the top floor of a skyscraper at London's Trinity Square.
The awarded's are given for "people, places and products that enriched our minds, despite the economic and political chaos around us," said the jury of the Wallpaper Awards. Prizes were also awarded to the best beer, best hotel service and the best paint in the world. The Wallpaper award is the second international recognition for Job Cabinet. A few months ago, the cabinet was included in the collection of the CNAP, (Centre National des Arts Plastiques), the art institute in Paris that collects worlds most beautiful pieces of contemporary art and design.
