Bertjan Pot (1975) once won De Kunstbende, a competition for young people with a desire to express themselves creatively. With his guide on how to bend a paperclip into a chair, he won first prize in the category ‘Anything Goes’. He studied at the Design Academy in Eindhoven and together with Daniel White he founded ‘Monkey Boys’ in 1999. Since 2003, Pot has been working on his own. Bertjan Pot is one of the most curious and surprising designers of the moment.
